The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) has recently entered into a Strategic Investment Agreement with Ecofleet Solutions Ltd and Chery Holding Rwanda Ltd to set up an electric vehicle assembly plant in Rwanda. This agreement was finalized on Friday, with RDB CEO Jean-Guy Afrika, Ecofleet Solutions CEO Aubin Rukera, and Chery Holding Rwanda CEO Mohammed Hady N. Tabriz in attendance.
This initiative aims to align with Rwanda’s green mobility strategy, aiming to decrease carbon emissions while enhancing local manufacturing capabilities.
