The Africa Fintech Summit (AFTS) is excited to announce a strategic partnership with the Fintech Association Rwanda (FAR), which operates under the Rwanda ICT Chamber. This collaboration comes just ahead of the 16th edition of #AFTSKIGALI26 and aims to elevate Rwanda’s burgeoning fintech ecosystem.

This partnership will highlight the growth of Rwanda’s fintech sector, facilitating connections between local innovators and global investors and regulators. Additionally, it will broaden the scope for cross-border collaborations. Importantly, half of the spots in the Alpha Expo Micro Accelerator Pitch Competition—34 in total—are designated for Rwandan startups, demonstrating a strong commitment to nurturing emerging entrepreneurs.

As Rwanda continues its journey to become a prominent fintech hub in Africa, this strategic alliance paves the way for new opportunities in innovation, investment, and regional development.
