RDB Deputy CEO Juliana K. Muganza, alongside Rwanda’s Ambassador to China, James Kimonyo, met with Mr. Zhang Jinbin, Chairman of Chuangzhi Group (Hong Kong) Co. Ltd, and his delegation to explore potential investment opportunities in Rwanda.

The high-level meeting focused on strategic sectors for investment, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing as a key driver for Rwanda’s industrial growth. Deputy CEO Muganza highlighted Rwanda’s investor-friendly environment, robust infrastructure, and growing regional market access as key advantages for foreign partners.

Mr. Zhang Jinbin expressed interest in contributing to Rwanda’s development goals through industrial projects that align with the country’s Vision 2050 and ongoing economic transformation.

This engagement forms part of Rwanda’s continued efforts to attract quality foreign direct investment (FDI) from Asia and strengthen bilateral cooperation with China, particularly in innovation, industrialisation, and sustainable development.

“We are committed to building strategic partnerships that create jobs, transfer skills, and accelerate Rwanda’s industrial growth,” said Deputy CEO Muganza.

Discussions are expected to continue as both parties explore next steps toward concrete collaboration.
