The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) has released its 2024 Annual Report, highlighting a year of exceptional economic achievements, global recognition, and strategic growth. Despite international challenges, Rwanda emerged stronger—attracting record investment, expanding exports, and reinforcing its position as a rising hub for business, tourism, and innovation.

💼 Record Investment Commitments: $3.2 Billion Secured

Rwanda attracted USD 3.2 billion in investment commitments in 2024—a 32.4% increase compared to 2023, far exceeding the national target of USD 2.4 billion. The investments spanned manufacturing, renewable energy, agribusiness, and mining and are projected to create over 51,600 new jobs. This performance signals Rwanda’s growing appeal as a competitive investment destination in Africa.

🌍 Booming Tourism Sector: USD 647 Million in Revenue

Rwanda welcomed 1.36 million visitors in 2024, generating USD 647 million in tourism revenue. Notably:
