Qualcomm Make in Africa Startup Mentorship Program

Qualcomm has launched the ‘Make in Africa’ Startup Mentorship Program to support early-stage African startups utilizing advanced connectivity and processing technologies. This equity-free initiative is part of Qualcomm’s African Innovation Platform.

Program Benefits

Selected startups will receive the following

  • Business Coaching: Guidance on business development strategies.
  • Engineering Consultation: Assistance with product development.
  • Intellectual Property (IP) Protection Guidance: Advice on safeguarding innovations.

Participants will have direct access to Qualcomm engineers and business mentors.

Application Details

  • Deadline: February 16, 2025.
  • Program Duration: April to December 2025.

This mentorship program addresses the growing demand for deep-tech innovation in Africa. As more startups explore hardware, IoT, AI, and 5G applications, access to technical expertise and IP protection becomes crucial.
