Rwanda’s vision for the future of Bugesera District will be driven by strong collaboration between local entrepreneurs, investors, and international partners, according to RDB Deputy CEO Juliana K. Muganza.
Speaking at today’s Bugesera Investment Forum, Muganza emphasized that the district is set to become one of Rwanda’s fastest-growing investment destinations, with opportunities spanning multiple sectors of the economy.
“The industries, logistics hubs, hotels, tourism facilities, schools, healthcare services, and commercial infrastructure that will define the next chapter of Bugesera District’s growth will be developed by Rwandan entrepreneurs and investors, alongside regional and international partners,” she said.
Bugesera Emerging as an Investment Hub
With major infrastructure projects already underway, including the development of Bugesera International Airport, the district is attracting increasing interest from both domestic and foreign investors.
The forum showcased opportunities across key sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, education, healthcare, tourism, and commercial real estate.
A Vision Built on Partnerships
The RDB reaffirmed its commitment to creating an enabling business environment that encourages private sector investment while fostering partnerships that accelerate Rwanda’s economic transformation.
By bringing together government institutions, local businesses, and international investors, the Bugesera Investment Forum aims to unlock new opportunities that will create jobs, strengthen industries, and support sustainable development.
As Rwanda continues implementing its long-term economic vision, Bugesera is expected to play a central role in becoming a gateway for trade, investment, innovation, and regional connectivity.
